How to remove front bumper and splitter?

What model are you referring to?

 

By "splitter" I'm assuming that you mean the body part below the front bumper. The parts book shows it held on by a few screws. I've had thoughts of putting on the euro version on and off since I've owned it. I'm afraid mine is painted in place and pulling it off will have paint implications. I'm interested to see what responses are like and if it is really that easy.

I did take this off on my GT4 and it was pretty much that easy. My only surprise was that there were a rusty pair of vise grips instead of a screw in one place. But the way it mates to the body is really different and not visible unless you are under the car.
