Have some glue left on the windows and can not get rid of it. Already tried Water, Soap & Water, Alcohol and a few others. Any other ideas?

I just went through this same thing. For whatever reason I found if you use wd40 on the window first then "goo bee gone" It came off ok but it never came off easily. Look for goo bee gone in about any walmart or autoparts store. It was the best I could do with mine. 1 window took about an 30 minutes to get it all off after I left the goo gone set for about 10 minutes. Sorry but that was the best I could do with mine. I have heard since it helps to heat the sticky glue with a hair dryer as well but I don't know if thats accurate or not.

This was years ago, but I removed the glue with MoJo Hand Cleaner... but, again, that was maybe 12 or 13 years ago...

Then I had to clean up the MoJo...IIRC, I used Windex....

Liberal amounts of Wd40 and a sharp razor...I did a guys car while detailing it--He was selling it and wanted all the tint removed. It had been on there for about 6 years...Came off fairly easily....I used a few rags down along the door sill to keep the WD40 from running into the door...

Dish soap on garbage bag, stick back to window in sun, peel bag off and all tint/glue comes off with it.

Hi, I use denatured alcohol with water and a drop of dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray the entire glass use a sharp razor and it will come right off. Cleans the glass too!

    Good luck!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I was impatient to wait for responses so I ended up going to the store and purchasing, 10 Razors, Windex with Amonia, and used a butter knife, hair dryer, and towels already at the house.

The Razors were key but after a few scrapes you needed to use a new one because once they got dull forget it. The hair dryer came in place for the hard to reach spaces. I would let the hairdryer sit there for three minutes on high and then use a towel and butterknife to get into the hard spaces. All in all it took about 90 minutes to do two side windows. What a pain in the a**!!

i was gunna say that if you use a heat gun, like you would use to heat up hockey sticks(canadian sorry...). My tint on my bike windscreen melted right off with it.... but congrats with the success.
