    deep six point socket with the chamfer machined away so it gets plenty of bite :)

    Just an 8mm thread about 19mm or so long, screwed into the hub.

    They have no purpose that I'm aware of. Certainly of little value when mounting a wheel.

    they help me line up the lug bolts a bit easier . . .but I have my wheels off a lot :)

    they hold the rotor to the hub, and it somewhat does actually help the rim to locate the bolts. later models have a rubber cover that really does work, the 355 ones would work better.

    mercedes and bmw have a tool in their kit that threads into one of the bolt locations and holds the rim up for you to start the other ones. same size and pitch, wouldn't hurt to carry one.

    I have a couple 14mm bolts with the heads cut off that I screw in to mount wheels.

    Just an expensive car !!!

    These bolts just hold the disc to the hub when the wheel is removed. All the pressure is carried through the wheel bolts.
    As mentioned the Mercedes wheel alignment tool works great, as does a cut of wheel bolts.
