What holds the trim around the headlights on?
The trim ring is pressed on and held in place by springy tabs. To remove mine, I used a plastic knitting needle (I had to buy one since I'm not into knitting!). It had just enough of a hook on the end to reach in alongside the trim ring and grab the back edge of it. A firm pull or two released the ring from the springy tabs. I'm sure there are similar metal tools (I've seen them at Home Depot), but I was concerned about a metal hook slipping and scratching the trim ring.
