    It's not easy. Some have a push in plastic plug that accepts the pins on the rear of the badge. These are good.

    The others have a metal washer that presses onto the die cast pin from behind with grip tabs on the washer. These are designed to be 'one way'!!

    Work these too hard and you will break the pins of the badge.

    Try and see behind to know what you are dealing with.
