    Hey guys,

I'm installing a backup camera on my Italia, which wasn't optioned with it. I actually took out the dash cluster and sent it out NavTV in FL. They already returned it with the camera's adapter and now I'm ready to put it all back together.

The question I have is how should I route the camera's long black cable from the rear bumper back to the driver's footwell. I have the car on a 4-post lift so it's easy to get under it.

    Any tips?

    Thanks!
    Alvaro

On my 430 i ran the cable behind the engine side panel as the air intake is there, you can cable tie it to the trunking as you know it will be cool. The rest of my camera is wireless so i did not have to go to the cabin

I’m a Dealer for NavTV and it’s been a while since I sold one. Usually the procedure is done on the car itself as it's far more simple (and the original way to do it from factory), but they may be configuring the cluster directly instead of changing the entire car configuration. To run the camera wire, it goes through the rear light till pillar and can reach to the dashboard there. This video will help you. Let me me know how you make out and if all goes well I may start carrying them again.

Wow. What an amazing video. I had no idea you can activate the rear camera function like that just using software. I was almost certain for a typical DIYer, you would have to send the dash in.

If you can either give us more info on the procedure or start selling this kit, I'm sure many on here would be interested.

    such a beautiful car!

were you able to figure out how to wire it?

I am thinking of doing the same.

Did you also choose the front camera option?

Where did you mount your rear camera? Which rear camera are you using?

    Any pics?
