I have a decal on my passenger side door jamb that I noticed one corner is starting to slightly, actually ever so slightly lift. Is there a method to safely re-adhere it. Safe for the paint and safe for the decal?

If the corner has peeled up then the glue will have attracted some dust meaning that it will never work again without some help. To fix this I have had a lot of success with the following method:

    1. Clean the paint as well as possible under the peel. A folded paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol works well for this. Let the area dry for a few minutes.

    2. Using a utility knife blade put a drop of crazy glue under the tip of the blade.

    3. Being careful not to cut the decal, use the blade to apply a small amount to glue to the peeled area of the decal much like a spatula.

    4. Press the decal back into place. Note that a little glue may spill out so be careful not to glue your finger to the decal and have that paper towel with rubbing alcohol handy to wipe the excess.

That is it. Easy repair that I have done more times that I care to remember.

Yup, thats the way to do it. However using a 1/4" wooden coffee stir, compliments of Starbucks, work as good with out the risk of nicking the decal with a razor blade.

Thanks guys, I have some of those Griots paint chip paintbrushes that might work well here, or maybe a toothpick, I just wasn't sure about what kind of glue to use.
