I am going to be in Chicago this weekend for a friend's wedding and the Essex Hotel is where we are staying...just found out they don't have Speed Channel (shocker) and so can you guys tell me a few good links to "watch" the race on my computer while I am there?

    Thanks.

The best option by far is using a VPN to watch the BBC feed directly from their website.

I recently did this and that post is very helpful but, as easy as it is to setup, that post did very little to explain how it works. And- it does work. It worked great the first time, not as good for the last GP. Tech support helped me make some changes so I'll see how it goes this time. It was still better than anything else I've tried to date.

Basic overview from a layman- VPN is Virtual Private Network which means once you pay for a subscription and configure your computer, you can logon to one of several private network servers around the world. Once you do that- as soon as you login to the VPN, your computer "appears to the web" to be located in the country where that server is located. You no longer have a USA IP, you have the IP of whatever server your on.

Most F1 folks use the Nottingham England server since it's the fastest in England and BBC simulcast is not blocked to UK IP addresse as it is to USA IP addresses.
