I use an Android Samsung (not gonna be swayed to go apple anytime soon)

Was at a friend's house last evening and while near my car, it was a great lowlight silhouette that I would have loved to capture. The light in the background skewed the photo, but other than selecting 'night mode' is there a way to get a Phone photo that actually looks like what you see with your own eyes? Tmit was low light in the foreground, but i could still see descent details of the car that dont appear in the photo

I used to understand manual photo settings and adjustments but have long since forgotten them

Should be able to 'click' on the object in the foreground while preparing to take a photo, and it will bring the focus of the camera to that object

Will be tricky without a tripod because you need a long exposure to let more light in

Depends on which droid model and OS you have

On the bottom, you should be able to slide right to 'More', select 'Pro'

You can increase the ISO which is essentially light sensitivity, this will show more, but it will be 'grainier'

Your best bet is use a tripod or set the phone on something and use the timer so it is steady, set the ISO to 400 and slow the speed way down

Pictured is the Pro screen on my ZFold 4, the Pro setting which allows you to manually shoot is not on all Droids
