I have a 2002 360 Spider. What is the difference (visually) between a stock 360 exhaust and a Tubi exhaust. The one I have is shiny metallic (mirror like) with the words "360 Spider" on it. There is no other branding to indicate if it is a Tubi, etc. aftermarket exhaust. I had a technician tell me once that the exhaust was "aftermarket" and probably a Tubi, but I was not told that when I purchased the vehicle so that is surprising...I figured it would be a selling point.

This is what the tubi tips look like. I dont know anything about other aftermarket systems.

This is on a 430, not sure if it's the same for the 360.

Thank you to both of you! It definitely doesn't look the the F430 tips....but it does resemble the 360 tips in the photo; however, about an inch inside the tips there are numerous little holes in the exhaust on mine and I can't tell if that is the case on the 360 photo above. It doesn't appear to be. Could you confirm this for me? Also, does your 360 stock exhaust (under the lid) appear all chrome like and shiny with "360 spider" stamped on it?

Actually, I just found this photo of a Tubi exhaust and this is how the exhaust tips on my 360 look...notice the small holes inside the exhaust. Again, I'm surprised the Ferrari dealer didn't mention that the car included a Tubi exhaust when they sold it to me! Seems like it would have been a selling point. Thanks again for your help.

Tubi actual muffler says 360 or 360 spyder, tips are liked to yours and the actual muffler is shiny. When I bought my Modena same circumstance as the Dealer never mentioned the Tubi and it was like someone gave you an extra $5,000.00. Stock muffler is also lot wider, bulky and dull finish.

Guys, I don't know anything about the subject, but a few months ago in another thread some members said that Ferrari would void any and all remaining warranties and recalls if an aftermarket exhaust was installed on the car, is this true? and maybe why the dealer didn't mention it?

In addition to the description given by docf, my tubi further has a small metal plate welded on the rear (facing the back of the car) with the Tubi logo engraved in it.

Someone might know better but I bought a 360 from Alger with a tubi and they provided an extended power warrenty. At the time, I was looking at a non-tubi 360 from WWC and Joan said "no prob well put a tubi on it if you buy". A day later she called and said they got a bulletin from FCA saying not to install aftermarket exhausts and to do so would void warranty, so she was withdrawing the offer to install a tubi on her car.

From this I surmise, but do not know, that 360's with a tubi installed before that bulletin are covered by warranty/etc but if you add an aftermarket exhaust after the date of that notice you will have trouble from FCA. As I said, I purchased after Joan told me about the notice (about three years ago) and added a Power Warrany later. the tubi, which was installed years before, was no problem.

Also if it says 360 or 360 spider on it I think it is a tubi.

I think the Capistro sounds so much . .. "more" but I have to admit, I like my neighbors. the only time to drive this car where I live is early Sat or Sun morning and I cringe when faced with starting her up. The car would not nearly be as fun without the sound but waking up hard working people is never something I want to do. I guess the CS/430 solution is best, exhaust cut outs over a specified throttle. The tubi drones when chugging along at 3K.

Personally do not feel my Tubi is loud. Now my Viper is Loud with all the garbage from the factory removed. My neighberhood though somewhat upscale is cluttered with modified trucks that certainly will awaken the dead. So enjoy your Tubi , just don't nail it till open road! Have fun!
