    I am starting to get spam email's on my business AOL email address that are addressed to my first and last name. How do these people know this? Is AOL leaking customer info?

    It sounded like such a good deal I gave them your name and home phone number.

    Edit: Seriously, I've never had anything good come from my kids' use of any AOL product. Spyware, viruses, you name it; its nasty.

    Thats is a good question Pete.

    My guess is that they bought some sort of mailing list. Maybe you just refinanced or something of the sort. I have noticed that the times I have refinanced, my full name gets put out and I don't like it.

    Why don't you try opening up a new e-mail and start to have all you important stuff sent there.

    Just a little time and websearching can find you any information you want about anyone ESPECIALLY if they're members at forums; the more info you got out there of yourself, the easier it is to find your name, address, email, yadda yadda.
