Hi, Looking to purchase an F430. Saw one when I was a kid and fell in love. Saved the vin after all of these years and trying to track it down. Does anyone have any creative ideas as to how I can find the owner? Its an 08 grigio silverstone coupe with red interior. I believe it is currently in NJ. Can't seem to find any others in this spec available for sale as backups. So far I've tried: -Googling the VIN -Got a carfax, contacted local F car dealer who did brake recall - asked them to put me in touch with owner - no luck -Contacted local FCA club - they don't know the car -Vinwiki From the carfax, doesn't have much of a service history since it last changed hands. No shop listed other than the local F car dealer (just for the recall who I already tried) for me to try calling. Can't find recent pics online. Nothing. Attached is a pic I took of it in middle school - my first time seeing an F car up close! Also attached is the pic I have of it hanging on my wall. Any help is much appreciated. Now this defines passion..best of luck finding this vehicle.! I have one car from my past I'd like to get back with similar results..I will be watching this thread if any good solutions come your way.
I love this story! Good luck with your hunt. Aside from carfax and just plugging the vin into google to see if any ads for sale pull up, I have no other ideas.
Might want to also post this in the regional section of wherever the car was last registered. Someone might know the owner. Also, try some of the facebook groups
