I have a tandem open trailer. Where's the idea position for my 360 and the best tie-down system. Pictures would help. Thanks.

Ideal position depends on where you want the tongue weight, or where it is best to tie down. I used wheel loops through the whole wheel, then tied those down forward and rear with the rear crossed. Another to the tow hook but not very tight.

Also depends on how the wheels are positioned, as trailers are made differently for different cars, i.e. for a 911 it's better if the axles are toward the rear. For a 360 on a "normal" trailer I would say pull it in to the stops and don't worry about it. I like the through the wheel using a strap with a ring end and locking ratchets.

I use these straps - Sports Car Tie Down Strap Set - Straps Only | AW Direct

And these ratchets to hook into the trailer eye bolts - Ratchet W/flat Snap Hk | AW Direct

E-track or VersaTrack with over the wheel straps are ideal.

Putting straps thru the wheels has several disadvantages:
    1. Can damage the wheel finish
    2. Wheels will rotate during transport which loosens the straps.
    3. Puts stress on the suspension components that can affect your alignment.
    4. Straps can rub or break body components or belly pans.

These are Versa Tracks. E-tracks are similar.

Instead of wheel nets, use a single 2 inch wide strap with tire blocks to go up and over the tire. If you have fender shell clearance issues, go without the tire blocks or specify the wheel nets.

The idler fittings simply snap into the tracks for a secure fit. Many styles are available.
You can use a ratchet hook that connects into a floor and-ring or a lashing winch mounted to the front of your trailer.

Macs Tie Downs is a great place for all your tie down needs.

We are currently installing E-track systems in 4 trailers, one of which is a stacker.

Several are Challenge cars and the ground clearance on the front is less than 2 inches. The only way to secure these cars before was by a strap thru one of the wheel spokes and then pull outward or inward on the front tires. This created a great deal of tension on the toe-in alignment of these cars. Regardless of which spoke you selected, it was never perfect so the wheel would slip and rotate during 25-50 miles of transport and you would need to stop every 50 miles or so and relighted the straps. It was not unusual to do this every 50 miles for 250 miles before they finally stayed tight and secure. Gave up on that system.

After much research, trial, and error......these E-tracks or VersaTracks are the easiest to use and offer tremendous options to fit many different applications. They are cost effective and safe when installed correctly.

One potential disadvantage is if you have a tire go flat during transport. Even so, the other three straps are quite capable of securing the car.

This type of system provides an attachment in front and behind each car which counters both rotational torque and provides hold down force.

VersaTrack has a higher pound rating than the E-track but both are adequate for Fcars.
