Okay, this will be a little long-winded, but please bear with me.

As a special invite, looked at the SF90 Stradale Spider, in Fiorano configuration. The blue with the silver stripe is devastatingly gorgeous.

Anyway, in talking to the salesman (who sold me my 458 Italia a week and a half ago), he pointed out that I have three Ferraris that span 4 decades of the marque.

    328 GTS for 1980 to 1990.

    Testarossa from 1990 to 2000

    458 Italia from 2010 to 2020.

So, how (hypothetically, as I am in no position to buy at present), how would you fill the gap of 2000 to 2010?

Please, just thinking reasonably priced cars ($75-150,000)

Think Sesame Street (LOL), two of these things are not like the other.....

    Two have mid-engined V-8. One is a mid-engined 12.

    What about a front-engined 12 cylinder? 6-speed?

Just playing. If serious enough, I'll do a poll.

If you want a six speed ..get the 550 that way you have a front V12 to add to collection

If you don't mind a f1 ..go for a 599 .. great value and then you will have all the different types of transmissions too

    Stick, dct and f1

    V8 V12 and flat12

550 would be the winner in my book.

With that lineup (328, TR, 458), I would add a front-engined V12, so a 550 Maranello or maybe a 599 GTB F1. That would be a great collection of totally different cars. Old, new, 6 speed, f1, v8, v12, flat12, front engined, rear engined.

flash32 and Mikestradale, you both seem to have hit the nail on the head.

So, I will park that for the time being. Currently Ferrari of Vancouver has a 599 Fiorano with F1.

Just need to digest the 458 purchase first. The other saving grace is that the 599 is Grigio Silverstone - same colour as my 458 Italia.

So, need a different colour LOL.

    Maybe one day.
