So will any of these suggestions actually be implemented...?

I would add a "new posts" tab to the top bar that when clicked on would bring up all the posts I have not seen since my last visit.

I think this box should be on the bottom of the page as well:

Just as I suspected; you're taking pointers from the Dilbert comic strip in the paper. :)

    Rob,

There are some very interesting threads that I have learned alot about certain vehicles. I think if you can compile some of these threads and edit them on magazine form, I would definitely be a subscriber. I always look for interesting books and magazines and there aren`t any out there. I think if FerrariChat can get their brasses together and get a subscription of magazines, quarterly periodicals, and an annual book, I think it will be a success. It can be in paperback, hardcover, DVD, etc. I would invest in such a venture in a heart beat if the business plan was somewhat descent.

I personally like the way F-Chat is. I think the only thing that I'm not a fan of is the colors/layout. I think things could be a little more modern and interesting looking... And maybe a smilies area to apply to posts. Other than that I personally love the site. I don't come here as much as I would like to, I've been rather busy writing and test driving cars. Also I don't own a Ferrari, so that hinders me from coming more than I would like to as well.

I would like to see more Podcasts on anything related to Ferrari. It's 10 times better than the crap on tv.

Yeah, that in my opinion would be great and will give the site a better look , I can´t even imagine that but anything with carbon fiber is good and a signature as a silver suscribe member...:)

I think this would be beneficial to everyone. Look at Gmail from Google and the free web album feature for inspiration. it is easy to use. I think most users would like to see more photographs then now are on line. Where are the instructions re posting photos anyway... may them easier to find

I don't know how many times I open F-chat and see some of the stupid replies to questions that come from people who don't have a clue or even a Ferrari! Worst yet, there are some who really believe it! For a while there it almost seemed like owning a Ferrari got cheaper every time I read some of the stuff that was posted.

When you post, it would be great if you could somehow know if someone replied to you without having to go through the entire thread...I don't know if there's a way to do this already, but I hate coming off as disinterested or self absorbed simply because I missed a reply...

you could always subscribe to the thread and turn on notifications, but often that is more pain than value as you might get dozens of emails a day.

You have a unique screen name. You could always "control F", enter "lqu" and hit "next" to see if you were quoted. It may take a couple of seconds but it would be quicker than scrolling if you've been away for a day.

Thanks for the idea Rob, but as you point out, that could get overwhelming...I like Neil's solution.
