Does anyone know how large your avatar and signature pic can be? I looked everywhere trying to find it but I don't see it.

    Thanks,

Thanks - would have helped if I actually tried to change it instead of searching, lol.

Suggestion: Mods should come down hard on non-subscribed members who troll. I just got out of the GT40 market thread where the trolling went on and on and on, for about two weeks in spurts. Jesus. If paid members are being hassled by the dregs of the internet, it benefits the business to carry a big stick and swing that bad motha-fil-in-the-blank to keep them happy.

In short order, trolls will know better than to mess around on F-chat. This site has enough members to sacrifice a few morons for the development of a zero-tolerance reputation.

We don't read every single thread.

Offending post[ers] need to be reported.

Easiest, indeed correct and direct way o report post[er] is to click on the [!] icon at top right of offending post.

Can we have the ability to log out on any page, not just the main page?

Up top where our username is would be a nice spot, also.

    Thanks.

Could we have a dedicated forum area for battery problems, dead batteries, battery tenders etc?

I really hate the time that FChat has for marking all the posts as read. I'm not sure how long it is, but it has to be less than 10 minutes. If any thread is full of new posts or it has an imbeded video, I read/watch then click back and everything is marked as read. It is ridiculously short. There's got to be someway to make this less annoying. Maybe a "back" button to change the "You last visited" time? Or maybe just make it 30 minutes?

Would it be possible to pull the "new posts" link out of the "quick links" drop down? I don't know about anyone else but I use that feature more than any of the six current options on the top bar. Additionally is it possible for an individual user to configure the new posts to only show new posts from certain sub sections? Maybe I'm just being too picky :)

Good idea though I use tend to use "Today's Posts" more often.

On the same topic, I'd like to see "Log Out" pulled out too. I suspect many folks don't even know it's there. IIRC the perceived lack of a log out button has been mentioned a time or three in this thread.

Yes, I find this read/unread functionality works in a rather incomprehensible and inconsistent way and feel it could be improved upon.

I often follow email links to updated threads and when finished reviewing those I then click to specific forum and find all posts are now marked as read even though I know I haven't been near many of them.

Rob -- The longer editing times are great, but can you do anything to shorten the time between searches? If it has to be a fixed value, could it be reduced to 15 or 20 seconds? Or I'd be happy with some sort of increasing variable time, if possible:

    2nd search = instant
    3rd search = 15 seconds
    4th search (and beyond) = 20 seconds
etc. (but I usually give up about then if I haven't found it ;))

Fix the issue with FerrariAds. When I for instance select price "highest first" and go to the next page, it resumes the normal viewing style in completely random order. Select "highest first" again and you are bumped back to page 1.
