There is no reason to mess with the suspension, it is very good -unless you are lowering the car or what a harder ride (heavier springs). The SVRs went racing and I do not believe they had much in the way of suspension mods.

    John,

A Canadian 97 SV - yellow with grey color alcantra interior, has been in the USA for years.

The interior is stripped. The speedometer is also in KM's.

Years ago, I looked at the car for sale, at the Long Island Bentley dealer. It also popped up for sale, not too long ago. I believe it was also in Miami, quite a few years ago ?

I posted pics of the car, in another thread.

I know of the car, it's not a Euro car...but it is Canadian...there is a 97 Euro Roadster in the US, that's why the 97 SV is the eligible list at DOT, someone went thru the pain of getting a Euro Roadster through the process...the guy starting this thread is in Asia..so, he'll probably find a nice Japanese car...

Brilliant! Exactly what I'd like to listen. JT, do you know why does the ABS make a running car unsettled since you're not hitting the brake? Does the software go gripping the brakes without you do anything?! We drive fast over here, it's virtually unlimited speed on some freeways so what you mentioned is not comforting. Can you guys just unhook the ABS?

Do you do any camber changes when you track? So, I suppose most of you guys stick to factory bushes & anti-roll bars as well? Thanks.

Best we could figure, when running 160MPH+ (was doing this for over 20 minutes before hitting the brakes..and didn't really do much research on it to investigate) the ABS gets confused and when we hit the brakes (not hard, just trying to slow down to 200kph or so) the car felt unsettled...probably same reason as on the track, the rear calipers were not engaging so the rear end of the car was pushing ahead while the front calipers worked properly.

Never had the brakes engage when not intended, so that is not a problem I have ever had or have heard of.

As for unhooking the ABS, not sure if you pull a fuse, relay or the connectors at each wheel, I would think it could be done but you'll probably have a light on the dash warning you ABS is not working.

All stock here, suspension is good as-is, but you have to be a good driver to handle the car if you get crazy.
