Thinking out loud; given the chance to order a new 355 from the factory (with all options available, regardless of year), which option boxes would you tick?

    Berlinetta/Spider/GTS
    2.7 or 5.2?
    Colour?
    Carbon or Standard seats?
    Airbags?
    Fiorano kit?
    Manual/F1?

    For me, I would want:

Berlinetta, 2.7, in Rosso Barchetta with Tan leather, Carbon seats, Roll Hoop, Harness, No airbags, small steering wheel, fiorano kit and a manual.

The only change I would make to my 98 F1 GTS is OEM shields and (maybe, just maybe) black carpets :)

Having given this a bit of thought over the years::

Berlinetta, 2.7, Corsa Rossa, Airbags, manual, no badges.

For the interior: Black alcantara instrument pod, A dark chocolate brown dash extending onto the doors, naturalé under-dash trim, Standard seats two tone, naturalé around the outsides, tan seats, backs, and headrest, quilted stitching, black piping with red stitching. Alcantara headliner trim, std headliner, naturalé rear window trim, beige carpeting.

I like the black carpet idea. One to add would be leather headliner, wish they all came like that. Was a factory option, right?

Find a local leather shop and have the headliner done in matching leather. I got mine done for only a couple hundred bucks when I was redoing a significant part of the interior. Love it so much more than the ratty ass fabric that was OEM on mine. Would post a pic, but I'm not where my pic archive is at the moment.

Challenge grill (not available in 95) so I guess I'd have to add it

Pretty sure those were the only options in 95, so I guess that would have to be it!

But if I am not allowed to cheat a little using today's tailor-made program

    I'd just order a

    1995 F355 challenge in

    Azurro California over black interior.

Easy. Done. Where do I send the check?

I love my current spec, but if I could spec another when new it would be an early 1995 Berlinetta pre airbag 3 spoke steering wheel, rosso barchetta on cuiou interior with carbon seats.

As an aside, I've wondered what a 355 would look like in the blue 488 launch colour.

Would a wrap produce a good enough result or would it not be deep / shiny enough?
