I finally signed up here since friends are always sending me links to threads here. I've probably met a few of you before at NPR if you are trackies but I am relatively new to motorsports as well. Being a BimmerChick myself I don't know how much I will be able to contribute but I hope to learn enough to talk with y'all intelligently about Ferraris That said is there such a thing as a 'Ferrari Tutorial'? I know only a few models but would like to be able to have a mental image when people spout off model numbers to me. Thanks a bunch! Josie
Welcome to the board! Check out the ferrari website and go to - cars - yesterday for a good reference on past models. http://www.ferrariworld.com/FWorld/fw/index.jsp
Check out the showroom section for pictures of the various models. Hey Ron- How'ya doing? You never posted any pictures of your 308. Hope you like it.
Doing well and love the 308! Saw the 328 at Lindsey's last week, hope all is well with you. I went with the Compomotives that resemble your Speedlines, pleased with the look, thanks for your input. Between a major at Lindsey's, new seats at Alden's, and driving the 355, I haven't had time to take pics of the 308! Hope to post them by next week. Ron
Welcome to the board. Be sure and attend the French Quarter Classic at NPR if you havent attended before. http://www.ferrarifrenchquarterclassic.com/
Excellent! I went to the FCA meet a couple years ago at NPR --is this the evolution of the same event? I had a great time then --it was my first experience driving a Ferrari (my friend's little 328) and first time on a track (in my sock feet no less since my shoes were not suitable for driving...) It was that event that hooked me on tracking my car (albeit not a Ferrari) even though I was a complete boob on the track with zero clue as to how to hit an apex --or drive a RWD car with no power steering for that matter! Anyway i am a tad better now after a couple driving schools
