...with all due respect, looks like a Sunday ride to me than "track-driving"... also you move your hands around the steering wheel too much, might be because of the paddles, but either way you should avoid be shifting mid corner as it unsettles the car.

Looks like the Netherlands has worse traffic than NYC.

The hands are definitely moving around too much. Find a position that works, and keep the hands there. But if anything, that driving looks a bit too aggressive for a casual Ferrari club track day.

I would not be happy with people passing at will with no signaling, especially in the braking zones. There seems to be a wide range of car performance in that session.

    Pretty standard in Europe.

Paultje, first thing is to better "compress" your braking zones. Reduce the time you are engine braking (lifting off the throttle but not braking) and when you need to slow, COMMIT and push the pedal harder. The goal is to reduce the speed required in the shortest possible distance. Looks like you had a lot of fun. That's what counts.

Wouldn't it be safer to try and drift on the exit of the corner as you can control the slide with the throttle? Doing it with entry of corners don't seem like a good idea as there is no way to save it if theres too much speed and the outcome could be disastrous.

Thanks for the feedback. I sometimes wanted to shift down, but since the paddles
were out of reach of my fingers when turning I had to move my hands. As jagbuff said,
    I probably shouldn't shift mid-corner.
Overtaking the way I did is pretty standard in Europe. The problem is that most
people driving that day have never been on a track before.
Only on the empty stretches could I drive freely. The trackday on Spa in Belgium
gave much more space to go full-throttle and also most were experienced on the
    track.
I do have to say that my breaks at the end of the 2nd part were overheated quickly.
I found that to be quite early since I only drove for 15 minutes. Any ideas on how to
prevent them overheating within 15 minutes?

Well, actually I didn't drift voluntarily! I went into the corner too fast, lost traction and corrected in time. Lucky me..

You may want to consider replacing the pads with track ready compound and change the brake fluid regularly as old fluid will make the pedal spongy. Also disable the stability control - if you haven't already - be careful when you get on throttle. If you are still running out of brake after those changes, you will have to consider upgrading to larger sets - or start gutting the car ;)

Little early on some of the turn ins, dropped a few apexes. Like ProCoach said, need to brake a bit more decisively

You paid for all the track, use all of it. ;)

too much slower traffic to make pace. when you are way down on the real limit of the car and yourself driving will get sloppy.
Indeed did not hit the apex a lot of times, but I can figure why. And sometimes you go to the inside to soon, and are hitting the curbes way before the apex. Let the car standing straight longer, primarily at Scheivlak and Bos uit, turn in later and sharper. Than you make your straight lines longer and you can hit the gas earlyer.

Zandvoort is a track that needs an agressive style, but not too. hit the gas, or hit the brakes, nothing in between.
Hit the brakes hard and short, just in time to let the car settle before turning in. I see many drivers that brakes too long, and are still braking turning in. There are many corners you don`t have to brake so much.

too bad you did cut so much material, I could detect 1 complete filmed lap, free driving, with a time of 2.31. Some work to do still, that`s slower than my time with a 2 liter bertone Alfa in the rain.... (not to offend you). In the dry my best time so far is 2.09.3.
Looking carefully I think you are sitting too far back from the steering wheel, that`s why you have to move your hands so much. Sit with the hands in the 10 min for 2 positions, with halfway bend arms.

your lines are all over, mainly due to the traffic.

the event should be done so that cars are spaced out. most of the time, you concentrate on how to pass the guy in front rather than how to improve your own driving.

i would suggest getting an instructor to sit with you if you have not done that before. he can correct a lot of the mistakes.

as for brakes, 360 is known to have shotty brakes. change to ferrodo pads and flush with motul fluids. see if that helps!

Yes, I've read some tips that I'll try to apply on my next track day.
Probably papenburg (Daimler testgrounds) in germany in september..
I guess I will also need to do a professional driving training course and get a proper
    track/race license next year.

why a license? if you don`t have a racecar its no use.
Can do the course , go to RSZ, Huub Vermeulen. Great fun to start with. Got me hooked..

Nice videos, looks like a lot of fun. I am shocked though that you and your passenger do not have a helmet. I rolled a car at a track in February and am happy I had safety equipment. A slight mishap could cause you to slam your head on the windows, let alone the damage a major mishap could cause.
