    One of the guys here at work just came back from a 4 day stag do. Basically they rented a midget for the 4 days and handcuffed him to the stag. They painted the midget blue and dressed him like a smurf and the poor guy had to be handcuffed 24 hours of the day for 4 days to the stag. The guys on the stag paid for all the midget's food and drink and paid for his flight etc (cost around £850 if you wanted to do the same) but the guy had to do everything with the stag....eat, drink, swim, shower, sleep, wee etc etc.

    If the guy agreed to doing all those things in advance and under no duress, then it's his choice. More power to him...I guess. I wouldn't ever think of doing something like that in a million years and don't ever want to do that.

    Treating a person like a caged/tied down animal is not funny to me. Granted, it appears it was by choice, but the act itself is not funny. I don't find it funny that african slaves were forced onto a ship, cuffed into a spot, and thus had to urinate and defecate there. I'm not saying what those bachelor party guests did was slavery, but merely the act itself. Degrading and not funny.

    The midget looks really pretty to me.
    I am sure that the slaves in those ships were not having beer at a nice hotel + Steppers + Food, etc for free.

    I agree the act itself is not funny and yes it brings out a darker truth but i think the idea is pretty funny.

    I really didn't mean to offend anyone

    btw, you're right, you can't compare this to slavery. The guy must have known what he was getting himself into and i'm sure it wasn't some random little person, he knowingly took the money and job. Black people did not have a choice

    I dont find it heinous nor would I compare it to slavery ... I just dont find it funny...even for a bachelor party

    If the guy willingly did it then no harm no foul... I dont understand the mentality that would do something like that ..but whatever...sorta that college frat boy mentality that I never understood.

    If the guy was 'tricked' into it by his friends then yeah..I would never speak to them again.

    Seafac.. I dont think you offended anyone. We're all just old and uptight ;)
