    As I pulled in the driveway last night, I got out of the car and a neighbor who has barely said boo to me in 10 years walked up the driveway and said, "I have to tell you, you're like a hero to me."

    When I asked why, he said, "The cars man, the cars. First the TR6 shows up, then the 911, then you go and get that red car (the Dino) and now, THIS!"

    He pointed to my M3, shook my hand, smiled, and walked away.

    Gotta tell you, it felt really good.

    I've had neighbors be more social now that the Ferrari is in the driveway (garage).

    LOL.... I see your point...but I'm not being clear. It's just a conversation opener. I don't think there are any social issues at play here. Trust me, if they wanted they could just go hang by the Maybach down the street.

    Geez, now even the friendly neighbor must be watched carefully. Guess I'll just have to make a show of cleaning the 12 gauge out on the front patio.

    While the neighbor was keeping you busy with compliments and shaking your hand, his partner was probably flying out your back window with a pillowcase full of jewelry and silverware. Trust no one.

    Actually, I was hoping they'd steal my kid's Honda Civic, but no luck. Even parked with the keys in it it seems to be immune to theft. Must be the 400 lbs. of misc. stuff in the backseat and trunk.

    Oh, and fortunately, Bijou, the ever watchful Mastiff, was inside protecting the goods.

    My family and I moved about a year ago to a larger home so dad could build his garage! The neighbor next door was a little standoffish until I rolled my Esprit out of the garage one morning to give it a bath. His jaw hits the ground and he immediately comes over to introduce himeslf (and apologize for not doing it earlier). Turns our he's a Brit from Hethel England where Lotus is manufactured. Small world!

    I called your hotels and they wanted $135/night, so I went on priceline and got a room at the Marriott in Lebanon @ 300 Corporate Dr for $45.00. You should don me an honorary member of your religion!!

    35 minutes? It looked to be 5 minutes further than Clinton to me by looking at the map. I'll be OK buddy thanks. What are you up to this weekend? I've got my 20 year class reunion tonight, should be a blast. We've got 145 people coming (total) out of a class of 325.

    34th and Waterway, and down on 15th by the bay, as I recall, for me.

    Then at night, it was off to "Mothers", or "The Dunes Till Dawn", occasionally, a stop at the "Anchorage" and that little dive up the street where we bought 7 beers for a buck (in little glasses, lined up on the bar), for some reason, I can't remember the name of that bar. And of course, the Circle liquor store.

    Geez, I sometimes wonder how we all lived through those summer weekends.

    I've spent time in so many places over the years.

    Kingston & Tennessee (by the golf course)
    32nd and Wesley
    14th and Ocean
    Atlantic Ave (in the Gardens)

    I worked as a ride operator at Gillian's Wonderland Pier for two summers. That was a trip! We still go to the Anchorage in Somers Point. There are a few other great spots around (well, great for here anyway). If you're ever down let me know. I'm always looking for someone to go on a local run with. :)
