    It's fairly easy. If you hit Shift-Apple-3, after a short moment you should see an image file appear on your desktop. If you're using Tiger, it's a .PNG image; if it's Panther or earlier, it's usually a PDF (don't ask me why).

    Be sure to resize the image so that it fits the image attachment guidelines here, and save it in a format like JPEG so you know others will see it.
