Today I received the report back: highlights are: - front lights are not correct for the UK (it's an LHD) and will cause MOT failure: £7.691! I've passed MOTs since 4 years without any issues - passenger window switch snapped: £1700 - this is a new record (vs. the £2 repair posted on this forum). - heater switch works but doesn't snap into the various settings - £1877 - door seals are worn,/ slightly bent: £2165 What upsets me is that don't take any responsibility for the poor manufacturing quality and then even try to profit from it. Par for the course sadly, the completely useless window switches being my pet peeve. That and the melting buttons that leave a black gummy residue on everything. Surely these are the basics?? What makes it worse is that I am tied completely to the main dealer here, no local specialists at all. I dread going to the main dealer, last time they quoted me GBP 12k to 'fix the ac' until I shared with them a thread on here as to how to recalibrate the system after a battery change. Fixed for no charge afterwards
