In case you didn't notice I posted my set of HRE 505/Palace Wheels in the "Ferrari Parts & Collectibles" Section.
These where rebuilt several years ago by WRS in Santa Ana and painted, not powdercoated into a subtle gold color. I wanted to have the choice of repainting in the future.

The HRE wheel caps are pretty much unobtainium so I had some custom Alu rings turned and press fit into the previous cap counterbore. They came out great in my opinion.

Was hoping someone on the forum would be interested as we have several past threads on the HRE wheels topic.

Would love to see these go to a FChat 308 Member.

    Thanks for looking.

You need to have a Moderator correct your ad as you can't have 16" tires on 15" wheels. Also, you should add a link to you ad in this thread.

You need to put the link to the ad in this thread (not in your for sale thread).

The beauty of 3 piece wheels is there are a multitude of replaceable parts that can customize to almost any size and fit.
Parts: Face / Center , Lips, Barrels

Face / Center - this is the important part with the design and bolts to the hub - everything is built off this-this is the real value! if the lug pattern fits (5x108 for us) then the world is your oyster

    "lips" (outward facing)
    "barrels" (inward facing)
    - important to both of these are the number of bolt holes that connect the

    Adjustability is possible in:

Diameter - you can purchase different lips and barrels that are available in almost any size - bbs is the main provider but there is a growing number of manufacturers and suppliers. As long as you have the diameter. I love the look of 16" but there are fewer performance options available. There are many tires for 15" because of the porsche 911 owners and 17" is the launch point into modern rubber.

Width - because there are lips and barrels in many different widths you can customize the wheel width to choose the appropriate tire. so you can run a 7" - 9" wheel width for a 205 - 245 width tire on front and/or rear tires

Offset - I love me some deep dish - to me most all modern wheels miss here. nothing like a good depth, on 308's especially in the rear. don't go crazy on the front or they will rub. you can play with offset in the width's of the lips and barrels, too. you can maintain a wheel width and shift it closer to the fender.

Per the case of @308Dadoo he has beautiful matte gold finish on the complete wheel with black barrel bolts. if one were to purchase and want to change, i think they would look just as beautiful with polished lips with the gold centers, as they are.

Beautiful wheels - but to all out there, run as they are OR feel free to use the center and adjust to your heart's desire! The center is the most important part!!!!
