A friend sugested I ask this knowledgable group.

I have been researching the engineering of the 1970 512S/M and it appears it shares suspension castings and hubs with the P4.

Can anyone tell me what size nut (diameter and thread) holds on the wheels and what size and circle are the wheel drive pins?

It's interesting to research the 512. Ferrari seemed to like putting the drive pins on the wheel as oposed to in the hub like everyone else. Any idea why?

i don't think we have current 512 S & M owners, but it's likely we have a past owner; at the very least, we've got someone who's raced one or driven one or worked on one or.....................
