Hudson isn't the nicest area, but you can live in Tampa or somewhere else nearby that's nice.. Palm Harbor is not too far, either, and that's where the local Ferrari dealership is. Tampa Bay in general is a very nice area, I'd keep that in mind when thinking of your move!
Agreed with what the others have stated: Hudson is in Pasco County and not very nice. But there are much better areas close by: Trinity (Pasco County) and all of Northern Pinellas (Palm Harbor / Tarpon Springs) are within 15 minutes plus you would be driving against traffic. From TPA it would be about 30 - 45 minutes depending on traffic. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.
My parents looked there when they were getting ready to retire. They didnt like the area. I believe they were the only people in the hotel that they were staying at when they were looking during a vacation in August and they said it was a ghost town. It seems like there may be some snowbirds, but not may year round residents.
Nope - definitely Pasco county. But we all agree on not wanting to live there . City of Hudson, Florida
Its not in Hernando county, and pasco is a **** hole!!! I live in Tarpon Springs (Pinellas county) and love it. The only time you ever go to pasco is for crack or hookers.

Its Pasco County, near New Port Richey. Personally, I would never live there. But about 45 to 1 hour away, there is some very nice living. If job is a good one, it is worth taking a trip down and decide yourself. Florida living also has good tax advantages.
Interesting... just north of Hudson is/was Sunwest limestone mine, soon to become Sunwest Harbor. https://www.facebook.com/SunwestMineNowSunwestHarbortowne [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_PiGx9fD2w]Sunwest Harbor - YouTube[/ame] Image Unavailable, Please Login
If the job is awesome, go look at the surrounding area. Some really nice towns close by, but some crappy ones. Hudson is not great, and Tampa is about an hour. But the area north of Hudson is nice.
