    If you don't already know, Wednesday night cruise at Bear Mountain. Tonight there will probably be over 500 cars, all kinds, classics, muscle, exotics. There is a 1985 cut off but if you are a member of their club you can bring your car on to the lawn, otherwise there is a big lot for parking right next to the lawn. Plus the drive to and from are on some great roads. Tonight looks like the last clear night for a while. I think I'm going to stop by tonight, if you go, look me up, forum name matches the plate, 02 red vette.

    Robbi and I use to enjoy going up. We'd drag Neil & Oscar & others from the EC too. It was a fun drive up & a good way to kill 2 hours. Most cars were just general American muscle & Rice. Occationally there was a gem. Cost? Like $1 or $2.

    But last year the rules changed. No more drive-ups. Fees were charged and you had to be a full member to show your car.

    Anybody know what the rules are this year?

    If they've figured out last year's pricing model sucks and they reverted, then I'm back in.

    Rob? Does the vette want to get out & flex? Noah, maybe GDC want's some inexpensive exposure and perhaps you want to put a grin on with the GT??? I'm up for a drive tonight.

    damm sounds like so much fun and I wanted to stretch the RS a little bit. Oh well, ill be traveling around 500 mph this evening on my way to geneva. Next time for sure.

    It's $2 and they aren't picky about age on the exotics.

    Ok. Met up with Charlie in his Dodge RX7. Lots of traffic on 46 & Palisades. But above Nyack it opened up.
    Guess you shouldn't drink & drive, eh Charles?

    Great collection of cars. We ran into JDogg & his brothers & Bob in his Vette, and a couple of other friends. This is one show I rather enjoy. Lots of cars (I'd guess 400 or so & 100 bikes easy) and lots of women. Most car shows just have cars- imagine that.

    Anyway, some of the odd cars that struck my fancy. Cars that I didn't take pics of: Lotus Exige, Yellow 348, (2) Charger R/T '69 Hemis, Fort GT ....nevermind. You folks have got to get out to this.
    The Vega had an 8, not the original 4 - that's why it was still running
    One new mustang that was "pushed" onto the field when steam/smoke started pouring out of the hood.

    Oh, and if Charlie tells you he walked away from a 308 at speed on 287....don't you believe it. ;)

    count me in next week. just saw this thread now, looks like they aren't making you be a full member anymore they just doubled the admission fee.
