I don't even want to know what the taxes on a place like that are. If I ever have enough to afford such a place, it would be somewhere in the world where property taxes are zero, lol.
New construction. A year and a half ago, I told a friend of mine about an idea for a website... he then told me he wanted to be on it when his new home is finished. Suffice to say, the unnamed site is dedicated to garages. Well, the house still has another 18 months of construction left; but I took my first tour of what is done. All I can say is WOW. I've been in some impressive homes over the years, but this one is on another level Google updated the site about 5 weeks ago. Full update pending Image Unavailable, Please Login
^ Look like at least 6 garage doors leading into a huge warehouse of sorts. VERY interested in to what is going in there!
Not sure if this has been posted-the former home of the US Fidelis owners. http://www.cbgundaker.com/PropertyDetail.jsp?mls_num=10022962&type=res Only an 8 car garage though
Garage A is for normal DD's... but has high ceilings in case he'll need to put lifts in. Garage B is for utility equipment Garage C is accessed via secret tunnel!... technically a living room Garage D is obvious
wasn't sure if he wanted his toys at home or not. so then....who's the owner of this badass garage/house?
He's actually a member here... but only lurks occasionally. When the house is completed, I'll make a post... have a website running, and he can comment further
I'm sorry to say, that house is quite afoul of midwestern values. I doubt a building permit for that beast would have been issued in 63124.
Just read this in regards to the Dean Gardens mansion in Alpharetta...soon to be no more (thankfully!). Apparently Tyler Perry does very well for himself! http://www.cnbc.com/id/38815126/ Here's his old house about 30-45 minutes away from his new purchase: http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/tyler-perrys-home/view/?service=1
this one was in Lake St. Louis, IIRC. however, there are some houses in 63124 (built in the last 5-8 years) nearly as ostentatious. http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/dennis-jones-house/view/?service=1
I hated the taxes, insurance, and maintenance on a 11k sq ft house, actually only 8100 living area, but geez these house are insanely absurd....I am getting old, just give me 3000 sq ft of liveable, useable space and I am happy.
Sorry this is all I have, I hope this link works, but this is my parents home. Its where I grew up. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=&layer=c&cbll=40.758437,-73.985164&cbp=11,42.04,,0,-6.66&ie=UTF8&om=1&panoid=s_TY766yv4kWDddHKN8OVQ&t=h&ll=40.75844,-73.985195&spn=0.042649,0.174923&z=13&utm_campaign=en&utm_medium=ha&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk-svn&utm_term=%7Bkeyword%7D
