Was on a small run yesterday with some friends at around 9:30-10:00 in the morning driving down 95 S around exits 12 and 13 at triple digits when my car starts acting all light and funny, almost as if I were driving on ice. Slow down to 1.5 speed limit for another mile and start feeling a shimmy in the wheel. Lost the crew, because I fell back and they didn't realize it. I pulled over and it turns out I that I had a flat.

WTF do you do at 10:00 am on a Sunday far away from everyone you know in a car with no spare tire and no jack???

I called Rob and got him out of bed. He went to the GDC garage, got a wheel/tire, a jack and a breaker bar, put it in his Vette and drove it out to me. We ended up finishing the run that ended at FoCNJ and had a great time. Then, he lent me a car to drive back into NYC.

    HUGE THANKS!!! ;)

If it didn't sound so cool, I would agree. I drove behind him for 30 miles or more, and his Vette sounds like an outboard racing boat or a Nascar racing car. Watching him spin the rear tires at 90mph is also kinda cool.

What I wanna see is Rob and Danny go at it with their Vettes. Now that wouldn't suk :D

Heh, yeah that was my first 11 month old. Little bit of an after taste.

David, anytime you need help i'm there.

As for the race upcoming, it should be fun, we just have to figure out what race is best. The DTM is definitely a cool car and should be fun to go at it.

Hopefully you meant an inboard racing boat. Outboard engines sound like crap. :D
