    Todays update...

Hulk and Linda are fighting over the LV condo. This little tidbit came out:

"Graziano's relatives have indicated they plan to file a civil lawsuit naming Hogan and Bollea as defendants.

In the wake of that wreck, Hogan established nine limited liability corporations to protect his assets, he said this morning.

Hogan denied violating the court's order forcing him to use previously frozen assets to buy the condominium."

    http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/aug/13/hogan-talks-about-vegas-condo-divorce-hearing/

"nine limited liability corporations to protect his assets" Can't say I blame him but it sure won't sound too good to the jury.

Smart in one way, but not in another. With that many "corporations", it just tells you how much money he has.

If those LLC's and Corps were just formed after the wreck, a good lawyer will pierce the right through them.. He better hope they were done long ago.

You all raise an interesting perspective. From what I've read it might be that "Hulk" is culpable to some degree. But, I'm surprised that some think this all falls on him. If your son makes a mistake, as a young adult, you would think he would have to take the majority of responsibility. From what I've read so far, I don't think bleeding Terry is the right thing in this case. Isn't insurance going to cover this boys care?

I'll be interested to see how this falls out. Sad for all involved...........

The thing is that little hogan made many mistakes with vehicles. Any reasonable and responsible parent would have taken the cars away.

I don't disagree, but I'm not sure of all the circumstances. Further, I'm not sure if Terry did impose any restrictions on "little hogan" that might have been lifted at the time of the accident. Reasonable parents don't take cars away forever.

I seem to remember that these underage kids were drinking with the Hulk before the accident. If that is true, he's likely in a world of hurt, and rightfully so.

    yeap, BAC of 0.055

Also, he was stopped and not ticketed several times, 1 of those were for 100 in a 70. After a few miles (20 or so) he was stopped again and ticketed for 115 in a 70.. Both were in Sept. of 1996.

In 1996, he was probably speeding recklessly in his power-wheels. Presumably, 2006?!? :D

Would it depend on the terms of the insurance and his actions that created the situation?

Exactly. And while I'm not a lawyer (nor do I play one on the internet :D), but it would seem the lawyer could cite the lack of Hogans parental responsibility in taking Nick's car away. Especially after all of the tickets. But I think the number of tickets and speeds and timing (or lack thereof) between tickets will also come into play.

I have a feeling this trial will last a while.

They have more money than you would think...

"Linda Bollea, the estranged wife of Hulk Hogan, spends $7,258 on clothing, $7,502 on maid service and $1,690 on jewelry.

    Each month.

Her husband, whose legal name is Terry Bollea, reports impressive monthly expenses, too, none greater than the $38,616 he spends on legal expenses.

In the nine months since the celebrity family entered the court system, the question of Hulk Hogan's net worth has loomed large.

Thanks to financial affidavits in divorce court, we now know, but the exact figure depends on whom you ask.

Terry Bollea puts his net worth at $32.4-million.

Linda Bollea lists it at $26.7-million."

http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx/?news=329568&GT1=28103 another link to probably the same story....I assumed with the image and lifestyles portrayed on TV he would be in the 9 digits, I was wayyyyyy off :) I could'nt imagine living in half of my net worth(at that level)not including all the cars and other expensive things his family possesses.
