Either one would be a good bet. Here is a bad pic of engine bay, but you get the idea. Right now at 1138whp. 1000whp pump. In process of turning her up to 1250whp, that should keep any pesky cars from beating me too bad.

This is my issue, how could such an amazing machine look so bad? I love how the G37's look, but the GTR follows the same dynamics that most new sports cars have they all look like a big box.

The 360 in my future won't be as fast as a GT-R, but I'm I looks guy. I like beautiful women, cars, and landscape:)

I know what you mean. IMO the GT-R wreaks muscle car. It is definitely not beautiful but is handsome in the muscle car way. In the looks department my problem with the GT-R is the interior -- it is just plain cheesy. The car runs great for its size and weight, as we all know. Not mentioned is the transmission which I think is very good, second to the 458, I think.

I do like the quick shifts with pdk however, i hated the placement of the shifters... At least in the panamera.

I wanted to do flooring but the amount of work and $ for my garage floor just didnt seem worth it. Definitely fun watching the transformation :D
He went with a lot of paint chips which served well with the greyish epoxy color. I think that is a MUST with grey.

May i ask what it co$t? Just trying to compare since i chose the "DIY" route.

Im another ferrari guy who also has a gtr. My experience is that a stock newer gtr will keep up with a 430 challenge on track. Its remarkably fast in all regards and not just in strait line

Only problems with gtr is sound which can be helped with aftermarket. Will never compare to ferrari but can compare to porsche, bmw, vette, etc. Other issue is numb steering. I feel thats more a factor of awd than anything else. Feels same as porsche, lambo, audi awd steering. Can anyone give me example of better steering on awd car?

Imo both gtr and ferrari are great. As is viper, lambo, porsche, pagani, ...

"I was humbled by a Nissan" kind of sounds like a Rolex owner saying, "I was humbled by a Casio" because the Casio time is updated continually by NIST and keeps better time.

I had the previous model Cayman S and a 997 GT3. Driving the Cayman was always a joy. It was balanced and harmonious. The GT3 was a lot more serious and took more concentration. Both offered more fun than the regular 911 including the TT. My only problem with the Cayman was that it was a bit too tight for my long legs, which detracted from long trips.

    I remember both fondly.

    Sorry I missed this...

I think the guy charged me around $2700 for 4 car garage. I'll look up the quote.
He did a great job - put the epoxy up onto the base boards.
It's also real easy to clean.

On another note, I test drove the Evora IPS - the gearbox was surprisingly smooth - almost felt like a DCT. I'm not sure if I like that - kind of lost the rawness.
Handling on the Evora still feels very connected. The comment on the "numb steering" on the GTR makes me concerned.

    Again re the steering -
No awd car has great feel. I put gtr feel above lambo performante for instance. Would imagine it would hold its own ve porsche electric awd for sure. Its definitely not up to bench mark exige manual or 458 power units but those cars dont get thru blizzards either.

The GTR will humble most f-cars not only in a straight line, but also around most race tracks. Including THE racetrack, nurburgring.

But as said above, rolex cant show the correct time or date, casio can.

In the same way that being accurate to 1/200,00th of a second matters in real life.. so does being able to drive 170 MPH. It's simply not relevant 99.99999% of the time (esp. on public roads).

Hey to each their own. Applebees fills your stomach the same way Bucatini with Foraged Winter Mushrooms, Soft Jordan Farm Egg, Crispy Guanciale, and Browned Goat Butter by an independent chef do. I prefer the latter while wearing my Rolex. :)

    Nice car...
But is it me? - why couldn't they just bring the nose out and slant it forward (ala Enzo or even M1)
Then flare the rear quarter panels... Image Unavailable, Please Login

I didn't have a GT3 but drove several. I think your analysis on the Carrera, TT and Cayman S would mirror mine. I also felt the same in respect to the Cayman S seating. A little cramped in leg room. I knew that at the time, but decided to buy it anyway.

Recently, I had a chance to sit in the new Boxster (which should be the same as the new Cayman). The Boxster is now approx. 2 inches longer and the seating for me is more 911'ish. I'm 6'4" and the Boxster now fits me plus some more to go. With the upgraded horsepower and PDK, the new Cayman S might be an interesting DD.
