    I am a recent transplant to Houston and soon will be bringing a few classics. I am really concerned about rust. Do I need to add a air conditioner and what else to the garage.

    Make sure it is sealed up well and insulate the door. Otherwise, there are climate controlled garage spaces in Houston if you wish to leave them there.

    Having recently moved from Delaware and now using Driverrs Source to store one of my cars (I sold my Speedster) so I do have a couple of carcoon type systems languishing in the garage - https://www.carcoon.com/carcoon-airflow-systems

    Maybe an option if you want to try ....

    Things rust very quickly here, even more so as you near the coast. If you are storing at home an air conditioned garage makes a huge difference in knocking down the humidity.

    A car bubble is another great option, and while they take some space, you don't have to plumb in an AC system to the garage. I have a car stored in one and have been extremely pleased with the results.

    Get one with a frame, it will still stay up when you take the car in and out.
