Humidor issues

Hi All,

I purchased this humidor 3 months ago:

I had it seasoned and stabilized @ 68' 70%, added 200ish cigars, keep it in my basement out of the sunlight and since the seasonal change the humidity has dropped and stabilized @ 62%. The humidity was stable for 1 month @ 68' 70% after filling the humdor with cigars. I know this is not major, but I would rather it be closer to 70. The only thing I have changed about the humidor was adding 3 gel tubes and 3 gel cans along with the two shot glasses full of distilled water that were there from day 1. I don't have room for an electric humidifier. I moved the humidor, over the weekend, to my bedroom on the second floor to judge the humidity throughout the house, the humidity rose to 63%. I returned it to my basement today and removed all of the gel packs to see if the gel was absorbing the humidity from the shot glasses, I will follow up with a post in a few days.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to increase humidity? I've spent enough $ on the cigars that I want to make sure I don't dry them out and ruin an expensive hobby.

the basement is 67 or 68 depending on the the time of day.
