    Some of you will recall that I took delivery of a 458 Spider about six weeks ago. It is a magnificent machine. But my wife and I agreed right away that the stock exhaust sound is pretty anemic compared to the boisterous Capristo on our F430.

    With a big weekend drive coming up, I thought I’d give the old golf tee mod a shot. I eagerly take a “before” video and snap a few “how-to” pics along the way, since people seem to ask. I drop the diffuser and peer inside. Here’s what I see:

    That's right-- it has already been done. It's disappointing, but I got a good laugh out of it. Looks like time to start exhaust shopping!

    Many here including myself, have made the same alteration and loved it! (458, 488 and 812)

    I put the Tubi on my 488 and it helped that a good bit. Imagine what it would do on the 458.
