Hmm, went through the big blow yesterday here in Houston. Ike knock over oodles of trees and all of the power. Fortunately, I have food, water, and a generator and a converter box on the house so I'm able to get on the internet and watch the latest posts on Ferrarichat. I've got gas for a week, but some are saying that power will not be restored for three weeks. My business can't handle that! Oh well, we'll all see what happens.

I can't believe the power outage reports from the news stating that up to 2.1 million people are without electricity, It could be days to weeks until power is restored. I got hold of most my relatives, all but my father & godmother currently have power. The looters I'm sure are having a field day with this too, most likely there are not enough police to protect every the areas affected. Everyone stay safe.

This is Texas. We don't loot here. Besides we also are firm believers in the Second Amendment--hence a polite society! Yeah, power to 2+ million "customers" but over 4 million individuals are without power. Some of my neighbors are tapping into my generator.

From what I heard, even the Galveston Police were actually able to round up a bunch of would-be looters.

    But, stay safe guys.

From what I heard they were arresting people stealing stuff out of the rubble piles. Probably Katrinians still in Texas. I've already seen them complaining about the food they're getting.

No power in Jersey Village. Went out 2am Saturday at the height of the storm. Have a generator running during the day to a small tv, and two refrigerators. No damage to my parents house. So we have a lot to be thankful for.

Apparently my uncle and aunts beach house near Cameron, LA is supposedly the only one left standing. That's what his company who did a fly by said.

And thank God for the cool weather.

God bless everyone out there helping, hurting, and just going through the motions.

This is why I keep my Ferrari in storage on high ground during summer. I have enough to worry about w/ 2 large dogs, 3 cats & Salvador Dali art.

Speaking of Ferrari's I did remember seeing the news show a hanger with a few cars in it. One being a covered Ferrari (had the red car cover). From what I could tell it was a 360 or 430....I think it may have been a CS. Unfortunately it had some bricks land on the rear of it. :(

Got power back last night at my parents. Mine still hasn't come back on.

Makes me wonder how hard Ferrari of Houston / Risi got hit. I'm sure they suffered some type of damage, they did keep some cars outside under that aluminum car park.
