We have a number of F-Chat members in the Houston area. Let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, we didn't lose any Ferrari's in the flood.

The last time we had floodings with a magnitude like this is 64 years ago. Had to "evacuate" my motorcycle and cars back in 2000, stored at a riverside with waterlevel expecting to rise for over a meter or so, luckily it ended up to be "peanuts". Without our waterworks half of our country would not exist anyway. But seeïng the flooding on the news is hard to grasp.

Hope no further lives will be lost and not loosing any Fcars will be a bonus. Best wishes from the other side of the globe.

So far, my mental tally has 3 accumulated Ferrari losses- the red Cali pictured on FChat in a number of threads and a 488 and something else seen in one of the videos posted in another thread.

My place in cypress is several feet above the flood line. We are not down stream of the reservoirs. We are fortunate. A mile away entire neighborhoods have their insides on the front curb. It looks like a war zone.

This morning I heard a high rev engine head off to cars and coffee at the vintage. Not sure if it was on or not.

    Life is surreal here now.

Glad to hear you stayed above the flood. I am sure it will take some time for everything to get back to normal.

I made it through just fine. It was stressful, but thankfully the worst thing that happened was no power for 8 days.
