Hurt My Back

So I hurt my back while snowboarding last week. I'm not sure if it's just a pulled muscle or something more. I'm going to wait until next week to see if it goes away.

The pain is in between my left shoulder blade and my spine.

 

Mid back, upper - sounds like a rhomboid!!

If you put your injured side arm - out and up, and have someone lightly massage
under your shoulder blade with a single knuckle - you'll know immediately which
muscle it is.

My rule of thumb (that I don't follow myself), if you sneeze, and the pain drops
you to your knees - it's time to seek medical attention.

Anything less than that - it'll heal!!!

 

Thanks. I was actually going to post today about the pain.

Yesterday it seemed to be the worst. Today, it appears to have diminished a bit.

I'm not sure if it's my back itself or a muscle. It doesn't seem to hurt when I lift things (groceries and such), only when I move a certain way. I still think I'll get it checked out.

 

You need to see a doctor ASAP

 

Doctors are quacks - take a "happy ending" coupon to a local masseuse.

 

haha... reminds me of my buddies working at one of the Big 4 accounting firms. they get $x/year to spend on personal health, so they all go to this local massage parlor to get a massage w/happy ending because they issue receipts and the firm pays for it.
