My Elite F50 arrived today. (purchased from Ebay)

Overall I must say I'm a little let down. The pics aren't perfect but you'll get the idea. There is no "fuzzy carpet or dash", the under carriage looks remarkably bland and cheap, and aside from the body there doesn't seem be much use of metal for anything. (grills, cables etc...)

Compared to the F40 (which is THE nicest and most detailed elite model IMO) I'm left a bit unimpressed. However I would have purchased it no matter what since it completes my elite super ferrari line up. (fxx is too close to the enzo to be included in my little collection)

    Enough talking, here's some pics.

The HW Elite series isnt that bad really for the $20 or so dollars you pay.

$20? Where do you get yours? I think the F50 looks like a rip off. No better than the Maisto version (on which it is based). I just want the 288GTO

The 288GTO yellow elite looks good to me..... it is a good buy.... I am still hesitate in buying the Elite F50 and Elite F430 Spyder...

The Elite models are $60 each, and like I said before I really had no choice since this is currently the nicest F50 example available. That being said, it's still not up to par with the other 3 in the pics. Not awful or defective by any stretch, it's just simply not as detailed as the others.

    Hey Guys,

Can some do a Elite 288 GTO comparison to the original HW 288 GTO? I don't have the Elite version but I do have the first run version which I paid $100 bucks for. What's different about the Elite version? If you can provide me with the details I would appreciate it. I will not purchase the F50 Elite version, as it’s not much different from the original HW one. I think some of these Elite version which HW is re-producing again will be “Hit or Miss” in my opinion.
