I only have a couple hundred miles on my car so very limited experience with it. I noticed the other day that the high voltage battery depletes pretty quickly during city driving while in hybrid mode. At one point it was down to 3 miles of battery range, which got me thinking...will the car switch to ICE only at a certain point? Will the car allow the battery to fully discharge while driving in Hybrid (or eDrive) mode? I was not able to find an answer in the owner's manual. TIA

It will more or less completely discharge and then switch to ICE, then to elctro and so on. When you switch to ICE runnung all the time, it will charge up to 12 km range more or less and keep it there. But you can also charge the battery fully in ICE/hybrid mode. You have to select " charge" in the menu.

The range in stop and go traffic is barely few miles; I’ve tested it many times. The battery tops up and remains topped up best in Qualifying mode. You also get the full power (full juice from both ICE and Battery) in Qualifying mode and the power, response and Poise with Qualifying and Race mode is spectacular and noticeably better than any other settings combo. I call this the best fun mode. I’ve never tried CT or ESC off position so don’t know if it is any better or scary with untamed 830cv going to rear wheels only. BTW, if you care for mileage, it’s worst in Qualifying and RACE mode combo.

I agree with this. I see no reason to use the car in the Performance mode (with the Chequered Flag). It’s takes significantly longer to charge in this mode.

The only question I have is if the car is used mainly in Qualifying mode rather than in Performance which charges the battery quickly does it reduce the life/ performance of the battery over time? Anyone know?
