I went to CES on Saturday. It was 600,000 square feet of 3D everything.

One of the [perhaps a little obvious] wildest displays of currently available tech was for full 3D PS3 shooting games using the carbine-shaped gun controller. Vivid 3D graphics, loud surround sound with realistic firing noises, moving with a gun in hand - a pretty immersive experience. I think we're going to see a newer, young generation of soldier that will adapt faster to combat stressors and engagement, because they've already played it out 1,000 times in realistic digital simulation.
