    Guys, guys, guys......

I'm about to pull the trigger on putting some hyper-flows on my 360. I'm reading all over the place how there is some marginal improvement in power & throttle response...but most importantly how the sound is improved. HUGE question on that.....

Could owners please tell me explicitely just how the sound is changed? I'm sure it's a safe assumption to say it's louder...but anything else? Deeper, richer, smoother, harsher, raspy, rough, and how much louder???????? Twice as loud, a bit more loud?

I'm also thinking about putting an X-Ost system along with the hyper-flows. I know the X-0st has a lovely rich bottom-end, but like many Tubi's it doesn't exactly build with rpm's to produce much of a scream...it's more of a suppressed howl.

I'm still looking to have my cake & eat it too: I want something rich, throaty, beefy, exotic but no tool loud at the low rpm's.....BUT something that still gets up there and screams at least 80% as good as my former Capristo Stage-3 at the higher rpm's. I don't need the high-pitched F1 shrill, but at least some serious decibel disturbance would be nice, WITHOUT a drone/resonance at the lower/mid range.

Are there any "Exhaust-Anonymous" organizations out there???? :) :)

Probably mostly in my mind but I think I have a little more low end torque. The sound is deeper and a little more "throaty". I had to replace my cats due to a chance of failure. I probably wouldn't have done it just for the fun but now that they are on, I enjoy the change.

How hard are these to change yourself. It doesn't seem like they would be that involved. I'd like to get my hands dirty and do this myself, but not if it involves taking off the bumper or things like that. It seems like several people change them around often so I thought it might be simple.
    I have a 97 355 spider.

    Thanks,

Not too big a job to do. Just a few hours of your time. Remove the rear bar for easy access if you dont have a hoist/lift handy. Remove rear muffler, then remove cats. Easy. ;) Refitting is the exact opposite of what I just said. :p

Sorry I think I wrote that wrong, know what emissions are. I was referring to OK= Oklahoma. Basically Oklahoma = What are emissions?. We have absolutely no inspection or emissions, it's great.
