I'll buy it from you in 15 years, quite possibly my favorite 911 made. I was drooling over one at VIR this year, same colors.
The American version is basically a cosmetic package (door cards, rear seat delete)... it's only about 70 pounds lighter than a regular Carrera 2, with the same standard engine, brakes, trans, etc. Does have an upgreaded suspension. That one even has A/C and power windows added... more weight... It will hold value better without a k&n filter, and with the wheels stock color... (black wheel 'fad' has jumped the shark... and they look like ***, imho) FWIW... Probably will hold value better than a Carrera 2... Don't expect it to be another Club Sport, though.
Those wheels totally ruin the look of that car. Looks like 5 years of brake dust compiled. Yuck. It will hold it's value though as it has done well during the first 15 years compared to most other sportscars.
I have to have AC for DD, so that's a good thing. Yes, the wheels would ce the first thing to go. I assume the door panels have been cut for those speakers?
The door panel were cut to fit the speakers, but the good news is replacement door panels are inexpensive ($300 pair for leather).
You may be right, but RSAs in the US seem to be holding in value. To UroTrash, +1 on red door pulls. I have a pair on a race car.
