Exactly, if he is - was so upset, then he could have ignored the transmission... if I were going to make Massa pull over i would have called him in to the pits for an early or late tire change

I agree that using a different tactic would have been in order but using yours would have probably cost Ferrari a 1-2 victory... Vettel wasn't that far behind them....

I wonder how Massa reconciles his statement today that nobody should move over, even if it means you lose the championship by one point, and what happened twice before when he moved over for Kimi giving him a WDC, and Kimi moved over for him, almost giving him a WDC.

Presumably he feels that Hamilton should have 2 WDC's, Kimi should have none, and that he wasn't a serious contender in 08 after requiring team orders to his benefit to even be in the running :)

What will Ferrari do if FM is leading the race with FA behind him this race? Will they ask him to move over again? Will he move over? I hope not. :D

Here's what Massa says, from the ITV story:

And pressed on the issue of what would happen if he was again running ahead of Alonso at the head of the field on Sunday, Massa simply replied: “I will win."

Too late for him to make these comments.

Webber did it right and Massa should have done this to MS years ago ... thus he has been found to be a poodle and thus will be treated as such.

I think he's just a Ferrari employee rather than a racer. Alonso drives to win, Massa drives for a paycheck. I suppose both are ok motives.

I couldn't fault him if he thinks like that NOW.
Germany ripped his heart out. Poor guy.

He's trying to regain some self respect.
Its best not to look too closely or judge too harshly at a time like this.

I think Ferrari might have to send Massa to obedience school after he parked his car letting Alonso pass at the hairpin.

Yep - he's still trying to find his manhood after being totally emasculated in Germany.

I really feel for the guy, but I think he is all talk. If the same situation happened again, I think he would do the same thing again. No way is he going to tell Domenicali or Luca to shove it. He doesn't have it in him.

I hope he does. That would be the basis of some truly epic racing. I want nothing more than Massa to stage a giant comeback and dismantle Alonso, but I don't think that will be allowed to happen. Alonso is the golden boy.

I guess he should just give the victory trophies back and forget he managed Kimi with no problems. An employee who enjoyed having a spring nearly take his head off last year?

I will give him credit as a racer. He drives for Ferrari, the dream of most. An employee? Absurd statement.

Alonso a killer that needs mommy to ask his little brother to get out of his way. He was inept in Germany dealing with Massa and the radio chatter proves it. He is a Diva this year in his red gown :)

Whatever. Alonso has beaten Kimi and MS in straight up title fights. Was a point back in another.

Other than Hamilton it's hard to think that anyone would be more proficient in the car Alonso has.
