Did one side (driver), and CV boots on that side.

Took if for a drive, pulled back in and popped the decklid. It is obviously cooler on the Fabspeed side! (no coatings or wrap). I did heatshield the engine mount per recommendations here on Fchat.

The CV boots, man what a dirty job.

It's ok to drive this way for awhile, right?

Finally, any market at all for the old headers? Anything, or should I just pitch?

If the old headers are in good shape(no cracks or melted tubes)and you will have to scope them to make sure, then you can get just under a g-note for the pair.

Is it fairly easy to sell factory headers if they are in good shape?

I would think that even if they had holes in them and were worthless you could send them to QV London and had the re-worked ($2,500. I believe) that you could sell them for $3,500.

Why would anyone buy them from me when they can call QV and eliminate the middle man?

    Hello,

I appreciate you noticing the heat coming off both sides. Many people think that our headers will make the engine hotter when that is not the case. Make sure you let us know how you like the end result when you are finished. Thanks!

Actually, there is a healthy market for the old headers on ebay - I just bought a set a couple months ago.

Do you have an IR thermometer? It would be interesting to see the reading from side to side....
