Scott - I think you mention it in one of your videos but which diagnostic tool are you having the most luck with? I’ve got a CEL on now that I need to diagnose.

I also own a 456 gta 97. It’s the only one in Turkey and I was after it for 10 years because I was really keen on using it as a daily driver. I did so for 3 months Until I wrecked it in a serious way. So now I started with the body and will eventually get to mechanics. Just wanted to say hi and by the way great videos above. Lucky you! That is pretty rare a 6-speed car with OBII, correct? Sorry can't help you with a good reader. I have a 1995. I do have a cheap code reader for my OBDII cars, but I wouldn't recommend it. I have been thinking of investing in a good scanner, but haven't done much research on it yet.

Is your car the dark blue, dark tan car that sold a while ago on FChat? If so, congrats! Beautiful car.

 

yes that’s me! It’s been a welcome distraction while 458 has been in the shop.

I bought an Autel AL519 based on recommendations in some other sections. I’ll let you know how it goes when I receive it.

 

FYI - this seemed to work well. Read my code (serial communication or something like that) and cleared it. Light hasn’t come back.
