I bought a new car today....

As for those who've mentioned safety, keep in mind, before ANY car is sold in a country (Canada's is one of the strictest), it HAS to pass collision tests and the Smart has proven again and again, it is a safe car. Mecedes has decades of experience in engineering safe vehicles and the Smart car was no exception and which has probably had more attention focused to it because of it's unique specification. The car comes standard with multiple airbags and is designed like a racecar, with it's structure acting like a roll-cage.

I feel safe in small cars. I have been in a few accidents where I was either in a small car (like my current one), or a smaller family sedan and have walked away unscathed from all of them.

I would have no problem driving one of these Smart's and I will be soon! Damn, January is taking forever to get here
