I bought ex-Jack Nicholson 308?

No mention of Nicholson, but...


In 1977, this steel-bodied car was offered for sale in Denver, CO, by Motoring Pleasure. The ad was seen in the September 4th 1977 issue of the LA Times.

In 1978, this car was offered for sale in Nevada, at 3,000 miles. The ad was seen in the August 27th 1978 issue of the LA Times.

In 1979, this car was offered for sale by the VIP Toy Store. Listed as: "Red with black interior. Demonstrator, never registered". The ad was seen in the June 17th 1979 issue of the LA Times.

In 1980, this car was offered for sale in the Ferrari Market Letterat FAF Motorcars in Tucker, GA. Listed as "metallic burgundy with black interior. Blaupunkt stereo Bamberg. 19,500 miles.

From 1988 to 1990, this car was listed in the FOCUSA rosters by Glen Burton of Escondido, CA.

In April of 2005, this car was offered for sale on eBay by Team Chevrolet in Colorado Springs, CO. Silver with black interior. 63,744 miles.

 

Sounds like a Chrysler LeBaron Jon Voight story. Any pencils with teeth marks left in the car?

 

I knew Glen when he was in Colorado about 1996-98. He mentioned that he thought Jack Nicholson owned the car and was trying to document it. I guess no success. I know this car was for sale early in 1998 because I had a 77 for sale at the same time and my buyer eventually chose mine over his. I believe he sold it soon after that.

NNO- you are the man!! How do you get that info? I've seen you post info on FML history, which I could see how you can get from the FML archives which you have access to, but how do you get the other non-FML info?

By the way, if I were looking at a car that Jack N. owned, I'd deduct 10% from my offer price- guy is an ******

Wow, cool info. Wonder what you guys would know about #21181, or #21645. Both 77 308 GTB's, both in my possesion.
