    I was able to score a few 100 to fit M6 at $0.50 a piece from the local surplus house, if anyone want some for the next pan install you are welcome to them at the price I paid plus shipping.
    Of course I just recently finished installing both pans after a shift rod re-do, and paid the retail price, ouch! Well at least I am set for next time...

    Oh man, you're a week too late, I just bought 50pcs last week as I'm preparing to change my shift shaft seal too.

    I'm interested! I'm planning to do my shift shaft seals this winter - how many washers would I need for both pans?

    I think there are 18 on each, but I would have to look to be sure (or maybe Mike can chime in, it seems fresh in his memory!)
    I had ordered 3 bags (McMasterCarr only sells them in bag of 10) and had to order a fourth to finish the job.
    I have heard these are useful on the valve cover studs as well, but I have not had mine off yet so I can't report from personal experience.

    16 on the tranny pan (Cambio)
    14 on the crank case (Olio)

    Also if you can, replace the nuts with the nylon lock type nuts.
