    Pick a number: 10X+Y
    Add the digits: X+Y
    Subtract the second from the first: (10X+Y)-(X+Y) = 9X

    Always results in 9X, where X is one of 0,1,2,...,9. I.e. any multiple of 9.

    So just make sure all symbols at 0, 9, 18, 27, ...,81 are the same and that's the card that's shown.
